Engineer I (QA)
As an Engineer I (QA), you will have a key role in guaranteeing the flawless delivery of games and supporting the mission to provide high-quality, entertaining slot games on advanced platforms.
This role involves testing C++ based Class 2 games (US and RSA), HHR & NYL games across various kinds of gaming hardware/cabinets to ensure high-quality standards are delivered around the world.
You will collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to identify and resolve defects. Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and completing test plans and test cases, performing regression testing, and reporting bugs and issues with detailed information for the development team. You will also participate in code reviews, analyze game performance, and assist in the development of automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and testing methodologies is also part of the role.
- Test C++ based Class 2 games (US and RSA), HHR & NYL games across various kinds of gaming hardware/cabinets.
- Ensure high-quality standards of games are delivered around the world.
- Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
- Build, maintain, and complete test plans and test cases.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new developments.
- Report and document bugs and issues, providing detailed information for the development team.
- Participate in code reviews to provide insights on potential quality issues.
- Analyze game performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development of automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and testing methodologies.
- Between 1-2 years of experience in software testing, ideally within the gaming sector (required)
- Proficiency in testing C++ based applications (required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (required)
- Excellent attention to detail and dedication to quality (required)
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (required)
