Budgeting and Cost Control Middle Specialist

Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and development of annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets.
- Monitor and track budget performance to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Ensure departmental spending adheres to budget constraints and financial policies.
- Provide financial forecasting and update budget projections based on operations.
- Advise leadership on financial needs and risks.
- Conduct variance analysis and explain discrepancies between actual performance and the budget.
- Prepare and present budget reports, highlighting key financial trends.
- Implement and maintain automated budgeting tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial strategies.
- Collaborate with departments to gather data and enhance financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with budgeting regulations and assist with audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
- Master's degree or professional certification (such as ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in budgeting, finance or related roles.
- Experience in senior or middle positions within budgeting or finance.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools (Excel, financial modeling software).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and highly organized.
