SEO Architect (iGaming Platform)
VBET, as part of the global SoftConstruct ecosystem, is searching for a hands-on Technical SEO Architect (iGaming Platform). This is a high-stakes, hyper-technical role with ultimate authority over platform releases. You will own the technical SEO architecture from scratch, with veto power over any production deployments impacting crawling, indexing, rendering, or site speed. Leading a dedicated team of developers, you will own the entire technical pipeline from task creation to final QA, treating SEO as an organic growth engine rather than a set of marketing briefs.
- Enforce global technical SEO standards across all B2C/B2B platforms.
- Build resilient, multi-brand URL structures, internationalization (hreflang) setups, and large-scale sitemap/canonical pipelines.
- Translate complex SEO logic into precise technical specifications for your dedicated development team, owning final feature acceptance.
- Leverage Cloudflare (Workers, page rules) and advanced caching strategies to optimize crawl budgets and proxy-rendering.
- Architect and maintain advanced infrastructure across large domain networks, balancing visibility with strict risk profiling.
- 7+ years in SEO, with at least 4 years focused on high-scale iGaming platforms (sportsbook, casino, operators).
- Platform/Operator-side experience is mandatory.
- 1–2 years of direct experience managing developer workflows and owning technical shipping cycles.
- Fluent English, Russian languages.
- Direct experience handling B2B contexts (White-Label architectures, API integrations).
- Proven track record managing multi-lingual/multi-GEO setups simultaneously (3+ active regions).
- Experience operating and monitoring a massive network of cross-border domains (50+ assets).
- Expert-level mastery of JavaScript rendering mechanics (SSR, CSR, ISR, dynamic/prerendering) and crawl budget management.
- Hands-on experience analyzing raw logs (Cloudflare, Nginx) to diagnose crawling anomalies independently.
- Ability to dissect WebPageTest waterfalls and optimize performance metrics (INP, LCP, CLS) alongside engineering teams.
- Implementation of non-trivial Schema markups tailored for betting, casino, and bonus structures.
- Strong working knowledge of Python or SQL for auditing large-scale SEO data.
- Expert usage of GSC, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog Log Analyser.
- Deep knowledge of User-Agent, IP-based, and JS-based mechanisms, including their risks and survival through major Core Updates.
- Advanced control of large domain networks, including hosting/IP obfuscation, link pattern minimization, and circumventing automated detection.
- Solid grasp of multi-GEO compliance; knowing how to structure proxy-rendering in diverse markets.
- Understanding canonical overlaps and platform-level permissions when dealing with affiliate networks and white-label operators.
- Ability to push back against product delays or engineering pushback using hard metrics, conversion risks, and business impact.
- Comfortably making high-impact architectural decisions with incomplete data and owning the outcomes.
- Strong capability to scope highly technical tickets, review code outputs against SEO requirements, and provide actionable engineering feedback.
- Driving organic growth without optimizing traffic in a vacuum at the expense of user experience (UX) or retention.
