Head of Partnerships

Description

This role is responsible for defining and delivering Betfred’s digital partnerships strategy to drive acquisition, existing customer retention and brand value. The role owns partner portfolio development, commercial performance, relationship management and delivery standards across the Partnerships function. You will be passionate about relationship management and maximising current partnerships. You’ll also have good experience in adding relevant partners, meticulous analytical skills and a commercial understanding on how partnership and affiliate programs work.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current Betfred partners, keeping regular contact and face-to-face time.
  • Identify and onboard new relevant partnerships to Betfred, working with the commercial and compliance team negotiating deals and contract deliverables.
  • Develop relationships with partners to grow loyalty and improve revenue.
  • Own conference and key partner event activity managing to budgets and generating profitable partnerships.
  • Seven figure budget planning and management throughout the year.
  • Oversee weekly performance and report back with key learnings and informed solutions.
  • Optimising campaigns continuously through data analysis.
  • Implement strategies to increase Betfred’s acquisition, retention and brand awareness.
  • Ensure all campaigns and partners are compliant to legal standards and correct compliance procedures are in place.
  • Support and feedback on current and upcoming campaigns to be promoted.
  • Plan all B2B brand exposure over the financial year and budget accordingly.
  • Conference planning - including stand exposure, design and merchandise.
  • Maintain strong ROI and consistently review partnership agreements.
  • Plan and execute all partner events used for relationship building.
  • Manage the partnerships team to deliver strategy & KPIs.
  • Hit personal and team KPIs.
  • Train and develop all team members.
  • Work with internal teams or key stakeholders to ensure all cross projects run smoothly.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in Marketing or a related subject (required).
  • 4+ years in partnership or affiliate marketing management (required).
  • Relevant experience in running B2B relationships and campaigns (required).
  • Great relationship skills (required).
  • Ability to analyse campaign data and make data-driven decisions (required).
  • Experience in managing large budgets (required).
  • Excellent communication skills (required).
  • Staff management (required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required).
  • Microsoft and Google Campaign Manager experience (required).
  • Ability to work in a team and a fast-paced environment (required).
  • Strong organisation and project management skills (required).
  • Keen interest in all sports (nice-to-have).

  • History in working on any affiliate tracking platforms (nice-to-have).
