Country Manager

Description

You are a hands-on Country Manager ready to shape and grow Betsson’s presence in Brazil. In this role, you will act as the local market leader, connecting global strategy with strong local execution. Your work will directly impact growth, customer experience, and long-term success in one of our most exciting markets. Brazil is one of the most exciting and competitive markets in the industry, and this role will be central to how Betsson grows locally. You will act as the voice and owner of the Brazil market, working closely with global and central teams while ensuring that local execution is fast, relevant, commercially effective and customer-focused. This is not a purely strategic role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable being close to the numbers, the market, the customer and the day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and represent the Brazil market, acting as the main point of contact for local operations and stakeholders.
  • Drive market growth by supporting revenue targets and ensuring effective execution of commercial and marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational setup in Brazil, including local administrative processes and coordination with external partners.
  • Develop and contribute to long-term business plans focused on sustainable growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Act as the voice of the Brazilian customer by defining customer needs and supporting product localization efforts.
  • Monitor service quality and customer experience across the entire lifecycle, in close collaboration with central teams.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, legislation, and internal policies.
Requirements
  • You have a strong commercial mindset, with experience driving growth, optimizing resources, and delivering results (required).
  • You bring solid senior-level experience in B2C iGaming, online betting, sportsbook, casino or online gaming operators (required).
  • You have a strong understanding of complex international organizations and know how to navigate multiple stakeholders with confidence (required).
  • You are hands-on, entrepreneurial, and comfortable balancing strategy with execution (required).
  • You thrive in fast-paced, performance-driven environments and are comfortable working with data, KPIs, and insight (required).
  • You communicate clearly and effectively in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken (required).
Benefits

Much like riding a rollercoaster, sometimes life at Betsson can be lightning fast with twists and turns but always FUN! Then again, what else would you expect from a business 75% millennial and 1700 strong, spread across 7 offices with 900 based out of our Malta HQ alone! We recognise it may not be for the faint-hearted, but if you’re a go-getter, initiator and adrenaline junkie, always striving to push the boundaries and challenge yourself, then you’ll fit right in.
