Junior Treasury Specialist
We are looking for a Junior Treasury Specialist to join our Treasury team and support the smooth execution of the company's payment and treasury operations. In this role, you will work with corporate payments, financial records, internal systems, and contribute to the optimisation of financial processes.
- Process payments through assigned payment methods (PayPal, Bank Wire).
- Manage the internal corporate recurring payments project and maintain the payment calendar.
- Process recurring payments for corporate resources and record them in Jira for further accounting in QuickBooks.
- Monitor corporate communication channels used by the Treasury team.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment-related matters.
- Record cash movements in the QuickBooks accounting system.
- Reconcile balances of assigned corporate accounts with data in the accounting system throughout the reporting period.
- Participate in the month-end closing process.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation within the department.
- Create and maintain department instructions and policies.
- Participate in global department initiatives and projects.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related fields. (required)
- 1-1.5 years of work experience in the field of finance, preferably in an IT industry environment. (required)
- MS Excel, Google Sheets on Advanced level. (required)
- English - Intermediate (must be sufficient level to written). (required)
- Knowledge and experience with different payment systems. (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge and experience with JIRA and accounting software/ ERP systems (1C, BAS, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, etc). (nice-to-have)
- Experience working with large datasets in Excel, Google Sheets. (nice-to-have)
