Service Delivery Director

Description

We are developing an internal service ecosystem that needs to move as fast as our business units. As the business grows, it is essential that delivery operates in a stable, predictable way and can scale alongside new projects. That is why we are looking for a Delivery Director - someone who will help build a strong and transparent delivery system with clear processes, efficient teams, and well-defined collaboration rules with the business. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, DevOps, design, and content teams, strengthen the role of delivery and project management, and help business units achieve results - on time, with high quality, and with predictable service economics. This role is designed for a leader who can bring structure to complex processes, build strong teams, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders while staying focused on results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the holding’s service delivery model (internal outsourcing structure).
  • Improve the organizational structure and coordinate the work of delivery teams.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery processes, KPIs, and performance standards.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including client onboarding, planning, execution, and quality control.
  • Manage project risks related to timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure financial efficiency of services, managing margins and unit economics (cost/hour, cost/word).
  • Strengthen the role of delivery and project management in collaboration with business units.
  • Ensure the stability of development and DevOps teams.
  • Provide regular performance reporting to C-level stakeholders.
  • Take responsibility for delivery performance across all services and projects, including SLA compliance, CSAT, resource efficiency, and delivery risk forecasting.
  • Operate with a high level of autonomy and have a direct impact on business results.
  • Initiate and implement new technological solutions, including AI tools, to improve delivery efficiency and optimize team performance.
Requirements
  • Have a technical background, with experience working in engineering or DevOps teams.
  • Have a strong understanding of the web development ecosystem (Python, PHP, JavaScript), DevOps practices, and design production processes.
  • Have a strong interest in technological innovation and AI tools, and understand how they can improve delivery efficiency.
  • Have experience building delivery governance frameworks, including operating rules, responsibilities, metrics, and escalation processes.
  • Have experience implementing and managing SLAs.
  • Have experience managing a project portfolio, including prioritization, timeline planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Have experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing unit economics (cost/hour, resource efficiency).
  • Have experience in resource planning and scaling technical teams.
  • Possess strong stakeholder management skills, including working with internal clients, conflict management, and setting operational boundaries.
  • Have experience building and developing middle management layers and delegating through Team Leads or Engineering Managers.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and systems thinking, structured decision-making, and the ability to operate in ambiguous environments.
  • Possess strong leadership and negotiation skills with a clear focus on business outcomes.
Benefits
  • Compensation for external courses and conferences, access to our corporate library.
  • Flexible schedule: you can start your working day anytime between 8:00–11:00 Kyiv time.
  • Work location of your choice: Kyiv office, coworking in Lviv or Warsaw, or fully remote.
  • 28 working days of paid vacation per year, up to 30 days of sick leave with medical confirmation, plus all state holidays.
  • Medical insurance and compensation for psychologist sessions.
  • Ukrainian Victory Support program and other important projects.
  • Regular team-building activities, online or offline.
