Junior IT System Administrator

Description

We are currently looking for a highly motivated IT Executive to join the IT Department and take care of all our IT needs, configure the company's devices, assist with network administration, and resolve all IT support issues.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure continuous & uninterrupted operation of the infrastructure of the company and its branches (workstations, servers, networks, backup etc.).
  • Software, hardware & equipment management (installation, configuration, maintenance & management for their correct operation).
  • Effectively manage users by understanding, tracking, and addressing their requests, ensuring timely and accurate technical assistance aligned with their needs and priorities.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, problematic areas and areas for development within the company's IT framework and implement strategic solutions.
  • Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
  • Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
Requirements
  • BSc/MSc (TΕΙ or AEI) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar field.
  • 0-2 Years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with Domains, DNS records and basic network configurations.
  • Familiar with Microsoft 365 , macOS and Microsoft windows systems
  • Familiar with backup systems ( Veeam backup & Acronis Cloud Backup)
  • Watchguard and Fortigate Firewall basic experience
  • Up-to-date insight into the latest developments in the information technology sphere.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Good organization, time management, and prioritization.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Efficient troubleshooting abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and experience with both hardware and software systems.
