Senior Finance Analyst - Treasury (1 Year Maternity Cover)
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Analyst to join our finance team on a 1-year fixed-term basis to cover a maternity leave. In this role, you will step in to ensure the seamless continuity of our global treasury operations and financial controls. Combining robust accounting expertise with an analytical mindset, you will take ownership of monthly cash flow cycles, strategic liquidity reporting, and team workflows. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running, maintain strong internal controls, and actively champion process efficiencies and automation during their tenure.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day treasury operations, ensuring efficient liquidity allocation and optimal funding across group entities.
- Own the end-to-end Monthly Cashflow Reporting cycle, delivering accurate historical analysis and short-to-medium-term cash forecasts.
- Lead Strategic Liquidity Reporting initiatives to provide senior leadership with clear visibility into capital availability, funding capacities, and risk metrics.
- Act as the final reviewer for complex bank reconciliations and treasury transaction logs, ensuring swift resolution of any identified variances.
- Facilitate banking relationships by leading bank onboarding, KYC documentation requests.
- Establish, update, and formalize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational continuity and institutional knowledge retention.
- Serve as a change agent by driving Continuous Improvement & Automation across treasury workflows, utilizing advanced Excel capabilities and data automation techniques to minimize manual tasks.
- Handle other ad-hoc treasury projects, cross-functional tasks, and operational requirements as dictated by the needs of the business.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Additional certifications are a plus. (required)
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in treasury and finance, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment. (required)
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Business Central is an advantage. (required)
- A tech-savvy mindset with an awareness of how to safely leverage modern AI tools. (required)
- Proactively investigates discrepancies and suggests process efficiency. (required)
