Senior Financial Analyst
This is a pivotal role where you won't just report numbers-you'll own the financial narrative, directly shaping the strategy for our expanding portfolio and new licensing ventures. You will act as a central reference point, driving critical budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles. Success means building robust financial models, delivering sharp commercial insights to senior stakeholders, and championing process innovation, including optimizing financial systems and automated reporting. - Support in the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles; ensure alignment with company goals.
- Coordinate and manage multiple forecast and budget versions across all verticals and business units.
- Assist the FP&A manager in the preparation of monthly reports, with a focus on Revenue, Gaming Taxes, Direct Costs and Overheads.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, supporting the month-end close process.
- Build financial models to evaluate risk, opportunity, and support strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial insights and communicate recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Oversee business control functions; perform variance analysis with regular stakeholder engagement.
- Manage statutory and regulatory reporting, including accounting for Gaming Tax compliance.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of financial systems, tools, and automated reporting.
- Take ownership of the data flows within the Finance department.
- Collaborate within the Finance team as well as BI and cross-functional teams on KPIs, data governance, and reporting structure.
- Build and maintain business cases and ROI analyses for strategic initiatives.
- Ensure process innovation within Finance, identifying areas for automation and streamlining workflows.
- Maintain a strong commercial understanding of third-party providers and contribute to negotiations.
- Support capitalization processes of internally generated assets.
- Assist in the preparation for the external audits and provide support during audit fieldwork.
- Tertiary-level education or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or Business Computing and a minimum of three years’ relevant experience (required)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills (required)
- Self-directed and results-oriented, demonstrating initiative and follow-through (required)
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and analysing operating and capital expenses (required)
- Highly inquisitive, process-oriented individual with strong communication (oral, written, and reporting) and change-driving skills (required)
- High level of proficiency in Excel (required)
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations (required)
