Description

FanDuel is looking for a Media Senior Associate to support the Programmatic In-house team within the US Casino Business unit. This role is responsible for leading campaign strategy, execution, optimisation, and reporting across programmatic channels, including online video, audio, display, and mobile, as well as select direct partnerships.

The position requires a candidate who is curious, collaborative, analytical, and detail-oriented, with a passion for digital advertising technology. The associate will work closely with other media channels, internal brand and creative teams, analytics, media operations, and external partners to ensure campaigns are set up for success and deliver against performance key performance indicators.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the setup, trafficking, and monitoring of programmatic campaigns across multiple DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather creative assets, troubleshoot campaign issues, and ensure timely and accurate campaign launches.
  • Support campaign and creative QA processes, helping to build best practices for reporting and budget pacing.
  • Work directly with platform representatives on tactical strategy, innovation opportunities, and creative best practices.
  • Provide continuous assessment of digital media tactics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
  • Develop and refine creative strategies and briefs designed to drive engagement and action across the full funnel.
  • Optimise budget allocation across platforms and tactics to ensure the most efficient performance possible.
  • Make thoughtful recommendations to key stakeholders to improve overall campaign performance and inform future planning.
  • Oversee campaign and platform budgets, including weekly and monthly pacing, forecasts, and reconciliations.
  • Partner with internal finance and analytics teams to ensure accurate spend reporting and budget accountability across platforms.
  • Own and nurture relationships with external partners, evaluating new media opportunities and optimising existing channels to achieve FanDuel’s business and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the creative, analytics, and marketing teams to align media execution with broader marketing goals.
  • Work seamlessly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, maintaining open communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record (required).
  • At least 3 years of experience in media buying within a DSP (required).
  • Familiarity with DV360, Amazon DSP, or The Trade Desk is a plus (preferred).
  • Experience managing paid video, mobile, display and audio campaigns end-to-end, including setup, optimisation, and reporting (required).
  • Experience with brand safety tools (IAS, DoubleVerify) and tag management platforms (Flashtalking) is a plus (nice-to-have).
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics within digital media, with the ability to report insights (KPI performance, creative analysis, pacing, etc.) (required).
  • Possesses an analytical and proactive mindset - able to aggregate information from disparate data sources into clear, actionable insights (required).
  • Willingness to learn and develop a strong understanding of auction models and bidding strategies across major DSPs (required).
  • Able to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team (required).
  • A clear communicator and multitasker, able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities across internal and external stakeholders (required).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills with a strong sense of accountability (required).
  • Experience with ad serving or trafficking tools (Campaign Manager 360, DoubleVerify, IAS, MOAT) (nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with measurement and attribution platforms (Nielsen DAR, AppsFlyer, Kochava) (nice-to-have).
  • Awareness of privacy-first media trends, identity solutions, and emerging programmatic channels (CTV, digital out-of-home) (nice-to-have).
