Software Engineer, Test
The Software Engineer, Test will work closely with developers, architects and the product owners to understand why a feature is being built and what the specific requirements are. The role is responsible for planning and executing tests to ensure new features and products work as intended. The individual should be innovative and stay up to date with the latest test frameworks. They will create test plans and other relevant documentation, and design and execute test cases. The role requires thinking about what is good for the products in the long term when making decisions. The individual should be detail-oriented and have a curious mindset to understand the products and ensure their continued stability. They should be experienced at solving challenging problems in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The role involves deep diving to find the root causes of issues and proposing solutions. The individual should be passionate and experienced with backend testing but not hesitant to explore frontend testing if needed in their team. They are a problem solver and open to learning new technologies to improve the impact they make. As a team player, they are willing to contribute towards the full responsibilities of the team. They should be a role model in behaviour with a positive mindset.
- Plan and execute tests to ensure new features and products work as intended.

- At least 5 years of experience working as a tester (required).
- Experience with modern test frameworks such as TestNG, Cypress and Rest Assured (required).
- Experience with development technologies including Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JMS, JSON and Oracle (required).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, influxDB and Splunk (required).
- Experience with pipeline tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes (required).
- Knowledge of Agile and lean values (required).
- Experience with backend testing (required).
- Willingness to explore frontend testing if needed (required).
