Content Manager
The Content Manager (Sports Data Editor) is responsible for managing, analysing, and configuring sports data that powers the Sportsbook platform. This role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and quality across markets and outcomes while supporting production systems through analysis and troubleshooting.
- Import market data from external feed providers.
- Map external markets to internal structures.
- Create and maintain market definitions.
- Write clear descriptions for markets and outcomes.
- Validate mappings across games and odds.
- Ensure compliance with internal style guidelines.
- Collect and analyse sports metadata (teams, players, competitions).
- Collect and analyse sports events and schedules.
- Analyse market and outcome data across multiple providers.
- Use tools such as Excel, APIs, ETL tools, and data visualisation platforms.
- Provide insights to support product decisions.
- Build and maintain sportsbook configurations.
- Ensure accurate integration into systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams.
- Validate performance and resolve inconsistencies.
- Monitor production data issues.
- Troubleshoot feed inconsistencies, mapping errors, and mismatches.
- Maintain documentation for data mappings, configurations, and processes.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in content management, data editing, or similar role (required).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (required).
- High proficiency in English (required).
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail (required).
- Familiarity with Slack, Jira, and Confluence (required).
- Experience with sports data providers (e.g., Sportradar, BetGenius, StatsPerform) (preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data processing) (preferred).
- Knowledge of SQL, BI tools, and APIs (preferred).
- Understanding of XML and JSON formats (preferred).
- Knowledge of sports betting terminology and logic (preferred).
- Experience with content management or configuration platforms (preferred).
