Platform Engineer (Build & Integration)
IGT is seeking a Platform Engineer (Build & Integration Focus) with deep expertise in build systems, continuous integration, and developer productivity tooling. This role is critical in maintaining a reliable and scalable software delivery process that accelerates our engineering velocity. You'll work closely with engineering teams to ensure that builds are fast, secure, repeatable, and observable – while also contributing to the infrastructure and automation that power our development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, strong in build and packaging tools, and passionate about streamlining and optimizing developer workflows.
- Design, implement, and maintain deployment pipelines across multiple technology stacks (.NET, Java, Node.js, C++) using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.
- Design and automate provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible to support infrastructure as code across environments (cloud and on-prem).
- Own and optimize deployment pipelines, integrating smoke tests across diverse environments.
- Create and manage release automation tooling to support development teams as well as final customer.
- Improve release automation workflows for both cloud-native and on-prem environments, integrating with tools like Ansible, Argo CD, Helm, and Docker.
- Automate configuration and provisioning of developer lab infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to internal documentation and training to improve platform adoption and self-service.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles with a strong focus on product deployment automation.
- Deep experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Deep experience using Ansible to deploy applications to Windows and Linux systems.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and optionally CloudFormation.
- Experience working with containerization and deployment systems (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and tools like Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Solid understanding of source control systems (Git), branching strategies, and PR workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a mindset focused on Release Management and reducing build-to-release friction.

- Background in release management or experience coordinating production releases.
- Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium or Postman.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
