Group Accounts Payable - 6 Month Maternity Contract
Join Legend’s Finance team on a 6-month maternity cover in St Helier, Jersey, and build your experience in a fast-moving, global business. You’ll support key Accounts Payable processes, from invoice and payment processing to reconciliations and month-end close, helping ensure accuracy and control across the function. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, organisation, and a willingness to learn are key. - Processing supplier invoices, payments, and intercompany transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining financial records in the accounting system, including bank reconciliations.
- Managing company credit cards, including monthly postings and reconciliations.
- Performing cost reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and liaising with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Supporting month-end close activities, including supplier statement reconciliations.
- Reviewing and processing employee expenses and travel costs in line with company policies.
- Assisting with annual accounts preparation and providing support to the wider global finance team.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and reconciliations, and how Accounts Payable works alongside Accounts Receivable.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
