Senior QA Engineer, Software
The Senior Software QA Engineer ensures that all software is working as intended through rigorous, detailed testing.
This role involves verifying game functionality on a range of operating systems and mobile devices. The engineer is responsible and accountable for QA sign-offs to production.
Familiarity with standard QA processes is used to review bugs, test cases, and create documentation. The engineer will develop, maintain, and execute test plans for game features and jurisdictional requirements.
Issues are documented, maintained, and tracked in the bug tracking database (JIRA). The accuracy of Live Game events is verified to ensure they match design and have proper functionality.
Debug tools are utilized to diagnose, reproduce, and identify issues. Issues are reproduced to assist software development in resolving them. The engineer will coach and share knowledge with junior QA members of the Studio.
Status reports, documentation, and other reports are generated for supervisors. Submission of software products for regulatory approval is also a key function.

- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans for game features and jurisdictional requirements.
- Document, maintain, and track the status of all issues in the bug tracking database (JIRA).
- Verify the accuracy of Live Game events, to ensure they match design and have proper functionality.
- Utilize debug tools to diagnose, reproduce, and identify issues.
- Reproduce issues to assist software development in resolving issues.
- Coach and share knowledge with junior QA members of the Studio.
- Generate status reports, documentation, and other reports for supervisors.
- Submission of software products for regulatory approval.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent relevant experience (required).
- 5-8 years of professional software testing experience (required).
- QA experience in casino slot gaming (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of jurisdictional regulations and approval process (nice-to-have).
- Mobile device testing experience (nice-to-have).
- Strong technical knowledge of computers and mobile devices, and ability to effectively troubleshoot web applications on computers and mobile devices (required).
- Proficient understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle (required).
- Ability to juggle a variety of tasks, and work with complex problems (required).
- Experience within a highly collaborative environment working with various disciplines including engineering, design, and art (required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (required).
