Description
Pin-Up Global is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer. The role involves taking ownership of the quality of assigned features from requirements analysis to release.
The successful candidate will work within a cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and other QA professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Own the quality of assigned features from requirements analysis to release.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, smoke, and end-to-end testing of Android and iOS applications.
- Validate REST APIs, gRPC services, analytics events, logs, and client-server interactions.
- Participate in grooming and planning, identifying risks and clarifying requirements before development starts.
- Investigate application behavior, data flows, and edge cases to ensure stable product quality.
- Apply risk-based testing and provide quality recommendations before release.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and checklists.
- Contribute to the existing Appium automation framework.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and Automation QA to validate complex end-to-end scenarios.
- Support performance testing and investigate stability or performance issues when needed.
- Improve QA processes and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (required)
- Experience testing native mobile applications (Android and/or iOS) (required)
- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, lifecycle, and client-server communication (required)
- Experience testing REST APIs and gRPC services (Postman, Kreya, or similar) (required)
- Experience using Android Studio and/or Xcode (required)
- Experience with TestFlight (iOS) and Android builds (required)
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, exploratory, smoke, and end-to-end testing (required)
- Ability to analyze logs, network traffic, and backend interactions (required)
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques (required)
- Experience writing and maintaining test documentation (required)
- Experience with Python-based test automation or willingness to contribute to the existing Appium framework (required)
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher (required)
- Familiarity with Appium / Appium Inspector, BrowserStack, Charles Proxy, Firebase Analytics / Debug View, Git / GitLab CI/CD, Allure, Apptim, Grafana, DataGrip, Xray (nice-to-have)
- Ownership and accountability (required)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with Product, Development, DevOps, and QA from other teams (required)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex issues and problem-solving thinking (required)
- Attention to detail and ability to perform thorough exploratory testing (required)
- Ability to identify risks early and prioritize testing based on business impact (required)
