Systems Analyst
The Systems Analyst role involves bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation by designing complex data flows and business processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed functional and integration specifications to guide development teams.
The role requires a professional who can collaborate effectively with architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are clearly defined and aligned with technical architecture. The role also involves researching emerging technologies and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support the ongoing development and maintenance of applications.
- Write detailed business requirement documents, functional specifications and integration specifications for use by developers to modify, enhance or fix the systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand architecture implications for business decisions.
- Interaction with key stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, consulting them on opportunities and risks.
- Compile detailed documentation for technical teams (architects, developers, QA, etc.).
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including both hardware and software.
- Creation and maintenance of documentation in areas of responsibility (requirements specifications, user manual, maintenance manual, etc.).
- Ownership and detailed understanding of the features and functions of products and applications from the area of responsibility.
- Identify opportunities and threats for new requirements based on product knowledge.
- Create detailed specifications of requirements for software development, ensuring they are clear, complete, and aligned with business objectives.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner (required)
- Working knowledge in the area of application development and system integration (required)
- Excellent analytical skills, able to design complex data flows and business processes (required)
- Proven experience of document/process design activities (UML, BPMN) (required)
- Experience with both traditional waterfall SDLC and Agile/Lean methodologies (required)
- Experience with different communication protocols (REST, GRPC, events, messaging) (required)
- Experience of working with Microservice architecture (required)
- Experience with Open API specifications (required)
- Experience in creating system specification artifacts (required)
- Experience with business process re-engineering (required)
- English level: Upper-Intermediate or above (required)
- Experience in a related field (gambling) (nice-to-have)
- Experience working with SQL and No-SQL databases (required)
- Knowledge of messaging patterns (required)
- Knowledge about integration middleware principles (required)
- Knowledge of Git, Docker, Markdown language, Grafana, Postman, Plantuml (required)
- Basic knowledge of Golang programming language (required)
