Designer
Playtech’s Casino unit is looking for a proactive Designer to join our game development team. You will work as a technical designer, preparing and optimising visual game assets. This role involves slicing assets, creating texture atlases, generating bitmap fonts, and preparing assets for localisation. You will also be responsible for optimising assets for performance across platforms and identifying and fixing defects in existing assets. Collaboration with developers and business analysts within the team is a key aspect of this position.
- Work as a technical designer, preparing and optimising visual game assets.
- Slice assets and create texture atlases.
- Generate bitmap fonts and prepare assets for localisation.
- Optimise assets for performance across platforms.
- Identify and fix defects in existing assets.
- Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts within the team.
- 1+ year of experience in a designer or similar role.
- Strong Photoshop skills and a solid understanding of composition principles.
- Understand different image formats and when to use them.
- Can estimate tasks realistically and manage routine work with accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
- At least an intermediate level of English.
