Senior FX Artist

Description

Playtech’s Quickspin unit is looking for a Senior FX Artist to join the team in Bulgaria. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional who takes initiative, enjoys driving thing forward and is passionate about creating high-quality visual effects that elevate player experiences. You will play a key role in shaping the visual quality of our games by creating high-quality, real-time FX that enhance player experience. Design, create and implement engaging visual effects across a variety of game themes, from early concepts to final in-game assets. Collaborate closely with artists, developers and product owners to ensure FX are seamlessly integrated and aligned with the overall game vision. Take ownership of FX pipelines and proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools and technologies within the team. Contribute to continuous improvement by exploring new techniques, tools and industry trends to push creative and technical boundaries. Work in an agile environment, taking initiative and driving tasks forward to deliver high-quality results within short development cycles.

Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in shaping the visual quality of our games by creating high-quality, real-time FX that enhance player experience

Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of work experience as an FX Artist
  • Experience working in the iGaming industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to produce effects in a variety of styles in After Effects or similar (real-time engines)
  • Experience from working in Spine
  • The ability to create optimized in-game effects with device memory limitations in mind
  • An interest for game development with a creative, imaginative and curious mindset
  • The ability to deliver in an agile, iterative environment where pace is high and all voices matter
