Frontend Engineer
The company is looking for a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer to build and scale high-performance web applications for VBET's iGaming platforms. The role involves working hands-on with React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript, with a focus on performance, scalability, and seamless user experiences.
The successful candidate will write clean, maintainable code and demonstrate an understanding of modern frontend architecture. They will be expected to actively contribute to technical decisions and engineering best practices within the team.
- Build and maintain high-quality frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Implement SSR and SSG to optimise application performance and SEO.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability across frontend applications.
- Write unit, integration, and E2E tests to ensure product reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Continuously improve application performance and overall user experience.
- 4+ years of experience in frontend development (required)
- Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js, including SSR, SSG, routing, and dynamic rendering (required)
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript (required)
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and scalable application development (required)
- Experience with performance optimisation and SEO best practices (required)
- Hands-on experience with frontend testing frameworks (required)
- Familiarity with component-driven development and design systems (required)
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills (required)
- English proficiency sufficient for effective communication in an international environment (required)
- Experience in iGaming, FinTech, or high-load applications (nice-to-have)
- Experience with SDUI and BackOffice solutions (nice-to-have)
- Knowledge of Node.js (nice-to-have)
