Product Operations Manager

Description

SoftConstruct is seeking a Product Operations Manager to optimise the product lifecycle by enhancing process efficiency, improving cross-functional communication, and ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organisation and its partners.

The role involves designing and maintaining scalable processes for the entire product lifecycle, from launch to post-launch iteration. The Product Operations Manager serves as a primary internal resource for product management, engineering, and design teams, providing the tools and workflows necessary to maximise efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable processes for the entire product lifecycle, from launch and post-launch iteration (e.g., release process, feature request intake).
  • Serve as the primary internal resource to the Product Management, Engineering, and Design teams, providing them with the necessary tools, documentation, and streamlined workflows to maximise their efficiency.
  • Act as the key operational liaison between the product team and external partners or vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Standardise and facilitate the communication of product updates, launch schedules, and strategic changes to key internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Account Managers, and Executive Leadership).
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and other teams to manage the operational aspects of product and feature launches, including internal training, resource preparation, and process adherence.
  • Help define and enforce consistent release cadences, ensuring all required steps (QA, documentation, communication) are executed properly and on time.
  • Proactively identify operational risks, process inefficiencies, or workflow gaps that could impact product quality or operation and propose actionable solutions.
  • Own and optimise the process for collecting, centralising, and synthesising customer and user feedback (e.g., support tickets, surveys, user interviews, feedback) to deliver actionable insights to the Product team.
  • Partner with Data/Analytics teams to ensure the right product usage metrics and KPIs are tracked, documented, and made accessible through standardised dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product operational health and efficiency, reporting regularly on progress and areas for improvement.
  • Drive the adoption of new processes, tools, and best practices within the Product organisation and among cross-functional partners.
Requirements
  • Strong skills in process design, optimisation, and cross-functional coordination (required).
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams (required).
  • Ability to manage and standardise stakeholder communication across internal and external partners (required).
  • Familiarity with go-to-market (GTM) workflows, product launch preparation, and cross-team enablement (required).
  • Understanding of release management practices, including QA alignment, documentation flow, and rollout procedures (required).
  • Strong capability to identify operational risks and propose practical mitigation strategies (required).
