Data Operations Specialist

Description

Content Operations is the backbone of Sportradar's content ecosystem, responsible for the full lifecycle of sports data and audiovisual content. Our dedicated teams span content creation, pre-match planning, live event execution, data collection, audio visual production and quality assurance, ensuring every stage is delivered seamlessly and to the highest standard. We’re hiring an Data Operations Specialist to support our Content Operations teams in executing strategies, coordinating units, developing KPIs, and building reporting. This hands-on role suits candidates with a Business or Data Analyst foundation and appeals to those with team-lead or people-management experience who want operational ownership plus opportunities to mentor or lead small teams.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the execution of Content Operations strategies and support the smooth running of day-to-day workflows.
  • Design, maintain and report on KPIs, performance dashboards and financial metrics to keep teams informed and on track.
  • Produce regular operational and financial reports, translating data into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, bottlenecks and cost drivers, turning analysis into practical recommendations for improvement.
  • Document processes, maintain playbooks and support the rollout of new workflows across the team.
  • Coordinate across multiple units and teams to ensure alignment and seamless collaboration.
  • Mentor or manage small teams and facilitate team cadence meetings where needed.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests, campaign tracking and budget controls as they arise.
Requirements
  • Background in Business or Data Analysis, Operations or a similar field
  • Strong financial acumen with confidence in budgets, cost controls and P&L basics
  • Skilled at working with data and dashboards, with the ability to translate results into clear and meaningful insights
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a reliable approach to managing recurring workflows
  • Experience in people management or team leadership, or a readiness to step into that responsibility
  • Comfortable working across time zones in a fast-moving environment
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Passion for sports or sports data.
  • Willingness to work flexibly in line with live sports schedules, incl weekends and public holidays
  • English proficiency at C1 level or above
