Product Manager (m/f/d)
The Audiovisual (AV) unit is responsible for developing and delivering industry-leading live streaming solutions and video products for sports fans worldwide. Through close collaboration with rights holders, media companies, and betting operators, the unit provides a comprehensive portfolio of streaming services and technology platforms. The AV products support thousands of live sporting events every year and rely on a sophisticated ecosystem of video technologies, configuration management systems, and client-facing platforms.
The Product Manager will drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the proprietary AV Video Player, the Live Channel Trading product, and the Stream Booking tool. This role involves owning the product lifecycle end-to-end, defining product vision, prioritising initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of features that create value for both clients and internal stakeholders. Acting as a key partner to Engineering and Client Integration teams, the Product Manager will balance business objectives, technical requirements, and user needs to drive product excellence.
- Define and own the vision for the AV Video Player, Live Channel Trading and the Stream Booking Tool aligning features with business strategy and engineering goals in the areas of betting, broadcast and media business.
- Work in close cooperation with development teams and the Client Integration team to ensure technical feasibility, prioritise the backlog, and maintain high delivery standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert during the client integration process, ensuring seamless product adoption and providing technical guidance on player implementation.
- Support the strategy for AI-supported client analysis; help to generate datasets to prepare them for actionable product insights.
- Navigate the team through dependencies to other teams and ensure high documentation standards.
- Translate engineering requirements into business value, facilitating prioritisation meetings across the teams.
- At least 3+ years in Product Management or a similar field, with a focus on data products, analytics, or video streaming technologies (required).
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/EKS) and APIs (REST, JSON) (required).
- Familiarity with video technologies (HLS, DASH, DRM) (required).
- Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to translate technical requirements into customised client solutions (required).
- Exceptional verbal and written English (C1 level) (required).
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams and business stakeholders alike (required).
