Senior Application Specialist [m/f/d]
This role, reporting to the Application Manager, Finance Systems, is part of the internal Finance Operations engineering team. The Senior Application Specialist will be responsible for the technical ownership of Dynamics 365 F&O and connected financial systems within the Corporate Systems Unit in Sportradar Engineering. The Corporate Systems Unit supports key strategic initiatives within Finance systems, connecting with every area of Sportradar’s business to support the growth and utilization of applications across the organisation.
The Senior Application Specialist will work closely with the finance department to understand their business needs and deliver customized solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Collaboration with business stakeholders, the internal Finance Operations team, and third-party providers is essential to ensure that requirements are accurately implemented and thoroughly tested in the system. This role involves technical management of the applications, permission management, and providing operational support. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for executing various compliance controls.
- Manage various financial enterprise systems, including Dynamics 365 F&O, OneStream, and Kyriba, with a primary focus on Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Advise finance departments on best practices and approaches to meet their requirements.
- Proactively suggest improvements for existing processes.
- Perform compliance controls for relevant finance applications.
- Oversee maintenance and access management for the applications.
- Provide technical support to financial teams.
- Strong knowledge of different Dynamics 365 F&O modules, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General ledger, Fixed assets and Tax. (required)
- Proficiency in configuring Dynamics 365 F&O. (required)
- Familiarity with integration tools and data migration techniques. (required)
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Platform and other relevant technologies. (nice-to-have)
- Drive smarter finance operations with working knowledge of AI agents (e.g., automation, copilots, or agentic workflows). (required)
