Senior Game Designer (m/f/d)
Sportradar's iGaming team designs, develops, and delivers high-quality casino games enjoyed by players around the world. From concept to launch, the focus is on creating engaging, visually rich, and technically robust gaming experiences across multiple platforms.
Based in the Bremen or Vienna office, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced engineers, designers, and product leaders, contribute to key technical and creative decisions, and directly impact the evolution of the growing games portfolio. The challenge involves designing innovative gameplay in a competitive market, balancing creativity with data and KPIs, navigating regulatory constraints, iterating in fast-paced production cycles, driving cross-functional collaboration, owning end-to-end feature development, managing ambiguity in early-stage concepts, aligning game vision with commercial goals, and delivering high-quality experiences under tight deadlines.

- 5+ years of experience in game design (preferably with iGaming, real-money gaming) (required).
- Proven track record of shipped titles (required).
- Strong understanding of game mechanics, player motivation, and engagement loops (required).
- Experience working with KPIs (retention, monetization, LTV, conversion) (required).
- Solid knowledge of RTP, volatility models, and math-driven design principles (required).
- Experience writing clear and structured GDDs (required).
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (required).
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial objectives (required).
- Experience designing live betting products, slot games or live casino products (nice-to-have).
- Familiarity with regulated markets and certification processes (nice-to-have).
- Experience with A/B testing and live game optimization (nice-to-have).
- Basic understanding of game engines (e.g. pixi.js, 2D engine) (nice-to-have).

- The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
