PR Intern - Communications

Description

This role involves supporting the planning and execution of PR plans suitable for content and platforms, including research. You will assist with arrangements and on-site support for media interviews and events. Collaboration with headquarters business units and IT departments is expected to remove obstacles and explore solutions. Support for the operation of O&O channels such as official websites is also part of the role. Risk assessment and countermeasures related to various initiatives, business decisions, and influencers will be required. Administrative tasks such as vendor invoice processing and document creation are also included.

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of PR plans suitable for content and platforms, including research.
  • Assist with arrangements and on-site support for media interviews and events.

  • Support the operation of O&O channels such as official websites.
  • Assess risks and devise countermeasures related to various initiatives, business decisions, and influencers.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as vendor invoice processing and document creation.
Requirements
  • University graduate or Master's degree holder. Majors related to the role (journalism, communications, international relations, political science, etc.) are preferred.
  • Experience in PR, article writing, and/or marketing. Experience in the gaming, entertainment, or tech industry is a plus.
  • Essential Japanese conversational, writing, and editing skills. Business-level conversation in Chinese or English is desirable.
  • Understanding of the domestic media landscape and experience operating websites (WordPress) and social media.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work through workflows in conjunction with team members from the initial stage to completion.
  • Proactive attitude towards driving innovation and removing any barriers to achieve goals.
  • Ability to work comfortably in an environment with people from diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds. Confidence in adapting to any environment and driving change.
