SMM/Niche Editor (Politics)
Description
We are looking for a proactive SMM/Niche Editor to manage social media accounts for the Politics niche. This role involves independent account management, quick reaction to news events, and preparation of structured digests.
Responsibilities
- Managing Instagram accounts with original political digests of international news
- Independent monitoring of primary sources (Reuters, AP, Bloomberg, FT, The Economist, Politico, Foreign Affairs)
- Selection of key news events based on importance, impact, and potential for editorial analysis
- Preparation of structured digests: concise, accurate, without distortion
- Assembling static posts and carousels in ready-made templates
- Maintaining a regular content rhythm and high quality of delivery
Requirements
- Independent account management without daily supervision
- Ability to work with deadlines and maintain a daily publication rhythm
- Analytical thinking and readiness to work with metrics
- Quick reaction to news events (within hours, not days)
- Openness to feedback and rapid iteration
- Attention to detail: accuracy in facts, dates, compositions
- English language B2+
- Readiness to complete a test assignment (unpaid)
