HR Shared Services Manager

- Lead and develop the HR Shared Services team, ensuring consistent delivery of core HR processes (contracting, onboarding, employee changes, offboarding).
- Design, build and implement HR Shared Services Ways of Working and frameworks, including process ownership, documentation, hand-offs and escalation paths.
- Drive automation and digitalisation across HR Shared Services, working with HR Systems Specialist to streamline workflows, reduce manual touchpoints and improve accuracy (e.g., auto-contract generation, workflow triggers, document issuing, notifications).
- Apply AI and innovative tools to reduce repetitive administrative workload and increase service efficiency where appropriate.
- Standardise and simplify HR administrative processes, removing unnecessary steps and ensuring the same quality of delivery in every location.
- Define clear request channels and intake Ways of working so HR Shared Services operates as a structured, predictable service rather than reactive or ad hoc.
- Create and maintain HR Process Ways of Working (handbooks, templates, checklists) to ensure consistency across all lifecycle activities.
- Partner with HR Managers globally to ensure alignment on compliance requirements and process execution.
- Work closely with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely transfer of data.
- Act as operational escalation point for HR delivery issues and proactively resolve structural gaps.
- Continuously improve service quality, using data insights, root-cause analysis and feedback loops to drive maturity and scale.
- 5–6 years’ experience within an HR Shared Services or HRIS-focused role (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Strong background in designing and implementing HR processes, frameworks and ways of working, including documentation, hand-offs and escalation paths (required).
- Demonstrated experience managing and delivering exceptional HR services at scale across global, high-volume operations (required).
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems is a must, ideally using SAGE People (required).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (required).
- Demonstrated ability to drive automation, design workflows and use innovative tools or AI to streamline administrative processes (required).
