Description

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining integrated software components, ensuring robust quality standards and driving engineering excellence across our platforms. Responsibilities
  • Analyse requirements and design software components that meet business needs and standards.
  • Develop, release, and maintain multiple integrated software components.
  • Build and optimise automated functional and non-functional tests, tools, and artefacts.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Solve engineering productivity challenges and recommend process improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews within your team.
  • Ensure software quality across multiple integrated products and components.
  • Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery pipeline, ensuring quality gates throughout.
  • Estimate effort for your work and communicate status, escalating risks when needed.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of software development experience (required)
  • Strong analytical and commercial experience (required)
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment (required)
  • Deep understanding of scalable systems and application development (required)
  • Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React (or similar frontend frameworks) (required)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP or similar) (required)
  • Ability to influence and empower teams, creating high-performance environments (required)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure (required)
  • 3+ years’ experience in the gaming industry (preferred)
  • Knowledge of multiple frontend technologies and SDLC best practices (preferred)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates (preferred)
  • Understanding of performance optimisation and security for integrated components (preferred)
