Assistant Management Accountant
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be supporting the Financial Control team in accurately reporting and analysing operational costs across multiple entities within the group. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will help ensure the integrity of the profit & loss account and related balance sheet items, while building a strong understanding of operational expenditure.
- Preparing and reporting operational costs, ensuring they are accurately allocated across brands and cost centres.
- Supporting month‑end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Working with business stakeholders to calculate and review non‑direct cost accruals (e.g. legal, facilities, regulatory).
- Reviewing supplier invoices for accuracy and supporting managers in understanding their costs.
- Using NetSuite and internal reporting tools to maintain accurate financial records.
- Providing analysis and support to the Financial Planning & Analysis team relating to operational expenditure.
- Assisting with audit queries related to costs and supporting ad‑hoc audit requirements.
- Contributing to finance projects and system or process improvements across the department.
- Providing cover and support to other members of the finance team when required.
- Part‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), AAT qualified, or a genuine intention to study towards a qualification. (required)
- Good technical accounting knowledge and understanding of core management accounting principles. (required)
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office tools. (required)
- Ability to explain financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders. (required)
- Experience using NetSuite or similar accounting systems will be a plus. (preferred)
- Previous experience within the online gaming industry will be an advantage. (preferred)
