Description

As a Commercial Insights Analyst, you will perform a key role supporting stakeholders from all areas of the business, as well as working with the Reporting Analysts on the key reporting capability of the wider Insight & Analytics team. Reporting to the Analytics Manager, you will be part of the Commercial Analytics team providing insights that contribute to the ongoing commercial success of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver clear, actionable commercial insights to support decision-making across key business areas.
  • Take ownership of macro-level KPI reporting, ensuring metrics are consistent, accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Act as a commercial guardian of data integrity, ensuring key reporting metrics are reliable and aligned across dashboards and reporting outputs.
  • Proactively monitor key business metrics, identifying unusual trends, discrepancies or performance changes and highlighting potential risks or opportunities.
  • Work closely with data engineers and data teams to investigate and resolve data inconsistencies impacting reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Commercial Analytics KPI framework, ensuring metric definitions remain consistent across the business.
  • Support the validation and reconciliation of key commercial datasets, helping ensure alignment across reporting systems.
  • Promote data self-service capabilities, ensuring stakeholders can access trusted and clearly defined data.
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics, Sports and Gaming analytics teams to ensure alignment of reporting metrics and insights.
  • Liaise with FP&A teams to ensure alignment between operational reporting and financial metrics.
  • Represent the Commercial Insights & Analytics team in cross-functional initiatives related to reporting improvements, KPI governance, or data quality.
  • Support investigations into data discrepancies impacting commercial reporting.
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of SQL with an understanding of database structure and logic. (required)
  • Ability to analyze large and varied datasets. (required)
  • Experienced Power BI user with good knowledge of DAX. (required)
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. (required)
  • Proven ability to validate, clean, and maintain data integrity across multiple systems. (required)
  • Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders clearly and work through to completion. (required)
  • Knowledge of programming languages. (preferred)
  • Understand the principles of data visualization. (preferred)
  • Knowledge of online gaming industry. (preferred)
  • Interest in Sports. (nice-to-have)
  • Interest in Finance. (nice-to-have)
