Marketing Analyst - 6 Month Contract
The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for delivering high-quality, commercially focused marketing analysis and insight to drive acquisition and marketing performance across the UK business. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role holder will own complex analytical work end to end and produce outputs that support senior decision making.
The analyst will work closely with the Head of Marketing Analytics, the wider marketing analytics team, and key stakeholders across Marketing and Commercial, supporting senior forums through clear, actionable analysis and evidence-based recommendations.
- Deliver commercially focused marketing analysis across the acquisition funnel, from prospect through to FTD.
- Identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities for improvement to the acquisition journey.
- Define, track, and interpret marketing KPIs, to support performance understanding and optimisation.
- Translate complex data into clear, decision-led insight, with a strong focus on action rather than descriptive reporting.
- Apply appropriate measurement approaches to assess marketing effectiveness and impact, including post-investment analysis and test and learn activity.
- Develop and nurture strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial, and Product.
- Responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of marketing dashboards and reporting.
- Work alongside media third parties to ensure alignment on KPIs, test and learn roadmaps, analysis, and reporting, reviewing and challenging outputs where required.
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis supporting UK Marketing priorities.
- Work with Group Marketing analytics to align on definitions, methodologies, and reporting standards, supporting group-led analysis where required.
- Maintain high standards of analytical quality and documentation.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve analytical approaches and ways of working, with a focus on efficiency, impact, and experimentation.
- Strong experience in a Marketing analytics role with hands-on exposure to acquisition and marketing data (required).
- Advanced SQL skills, with experience working with large, complex datasets (required).
- Experience working with digital marketing and media data, including Google Analytics (GA4) event-level data (required).
- Solid understanding of marketing measurement and attribution approaches (required).
- Strong experience using Power BI or similar (required).
- Proven experience delivering commercially focused analysis that drives action (required).
- Strong analytical judgment, able to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analysis and insight (required).
- Experience working with marketing and acquisition data (required).
- Understanding of marketing measurement approaches and how they can be used to assess performance (required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain analysis clearly to non-technical stakeholders (required).
- High attention to detail and strong standards for analytical quality and documentation (required).
