Tech Lead .NET
As a Tech Lead, the individual will be responsible for leading a team of engineers working on key applications and services of the frontend stack used. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, they will be heading the PosAPI team (part of the Frontend Framework domain), who develop and maintain one of the core high-availability and high-traffic web applications (.NET web API) as well as internal developer tools.
The Tech Lead acts as a first technical contact person for the assigned projects and reports on the progress as required. They will implement standards for delivery of projects across the team, and design and develop high-quality software solutions based on business requirements. Defining non-functional requirements and ensuring implementation according to them is also a key part of the role, as is ensuring operational readiness of applications. The Tech Lead ensures technical reviews are done and non-functional requirements (NFRs) are considered. They will discuss, understand, and refine business requirements together with business peers, and support and consult business on technical topics. Mentoring and coaching team members, as well as sharing and spreading knowledge within and across teams, are also important aspects of this position. The Tech Lead will drive and support process improvements.

- Education and active work experience (5+ years) as .NET software engineer (required).
- Active experience developing and maintaining .NET web services (required).
- Experienced in AWS hosted applications (required).
- Experienced in application monitoring and alerting (required).
- Experienced in leading a team of engineers, including recruitment and other people management duties (required).
