QA Automation Engineer
As a QA Engineer (Automation-focused) in our Math QA team, you will help ensure the accuracy and reliability of the backend logic that powers our online games. You will be responsible for learning to design and execute automated test cases for request/response flows and contributing to the automation framework that guarantees high-quality releases. - Adapt and extend the framework for new game mechanics and validation needs.
- Validate game responses, feature logic, state transitions, wins, multipliers, and edge cases.
- Execute and analyze large simulation samples to ensure game mathematical output matches the official game logic document/spec.
- Analyze failed automation runs and identify the real source of the issue.
- Improve the speed, efficiency, reliability, maintainability, and reporting of the automation framework.
- Collaborate with QA, developers, math/game teams, and product stakeholders.
- Help define test coverage for new games and features.
- Previous experience in Automation testing (required).
- Strong technical knowledge in Node.js, Git and JSON (required).
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail (required).
- Knowledge of QA principles, testing methodologies, and bug reporting (required).
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment (required).
- Experience investigating whether failures come from the product, test logic, framework, or integration layer (required).
- Experience optimizing high-volume simulation speed and performance (required).
- iGaming, casino, or slot game testing experience is a strong plus (nice-to-have).
- Experience with game mechanics such as free spins, respins, multipliers, jackpots, bonus features, game states, or choice-based flows is a plus (nice-to-have).
