Junior Payroll Accountant
Evolution is looking for a Junior Payroll Accountant to assist the Lead Payroll Accountant with various payroll-related calculations and payments. The role involves managing administrative entries such as sick notes and vacations, while providing support and consultation to employees regarding their payroll calculations.
The position requires ensuring that all tax calculations and accounting practices remain in full compliance with the tax legislation of the Lithuanian Republic. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing reference notes and submitting necessary employee movement reports to the relevant tax authorities.
- Helping the Lead Payroll Accountant with all payroll related calculations and payments.
- Processing sick notes, vacations, and other entries.
- Consulting employees on payroll calculations.
- Communication with employees in case of uncertainties.
- Preparation of reference notes for employees.
- Submitting employee movement reports to tax authorities.
- Ensuring that taxes are calculated and accounted for in compliance with the tax legislation of the Lithuanian Republic.
- Professional accounting education (can be 3rd or 4th-year accounting students) (required).
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian and English languages (required).
- Good level of computer skills (required).
- High sense of responsibility (required).
- Ability to accurately fulfil the Lead Payroll Accountant orders and work tasks (required).
- Ability to work in a team (required).
- Gross monthly salary from 1300 EUR to 1800 EUR (to be determined depending on the level of experience and competencies).
