Sound Designer
This role is for a Music Composer/Sound Designer who will shape the entire game from the ground up. Your music will set the tone, define the atmosphere, and guide the player’s emotional journey, essentially storytelling through audio. The position involves creating bold ideas and edgy themes for slot games, offering creative freedom and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the industry.
- Compose and arrange original music that supports the theme and atmosphere of the game.
- Create sound effects that enhance gameplay, improve event readability, and capture the player’s attention.
- Collaborate closely with artists, programmers, and game designers to achieve a cohesive audio-visual concept.
- Prepare and deliver audio assets, ensuring their correct implementation in the game.
- Mix, master, and adapt audio for various game platforms and devices.
- Work effectively when project style, scope, or deadlines change.
- Propose creative solutions to improve the overall player experience.
- Education in music, audio engineering, or a related audio field is a must.
- Basic knowledge of music theory and the ability to play at least one musical instrument.
- Proficiency with DAWs (Reaper, Cubase, etc.).
- Familiarity with standard VST libraries.
- Experience in recording, editing, and mixing audio.
- Ability to work with MIDI and develop musical ideas using a MIDI keyboard.
- Ability to compose and design audio quickly across different genres and styles.
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
