Technical Operations Manager

Description

The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for the team of Support Specialists and Manages and participates in the studio equipment build process, resource planning and managing projects; Organizes and participates in the studio infrastructure maintenance and repair works; Ensures uninterrupted work of studio technical equipment; Evaluates suppliers and procures equipment, tools and materials required for R&D, builds and maintenance; Participates in R&D and solution design process; Participates in new employees selection and training; Provides required reports.

Responsibilities
  • Manages and participates in the studio equipment build process, resource planning and managing projects.
  • Organises and participates in the studio infrastructure maintenance and repair works.
  • Ensures uninterrupted work of studio technical equipment.
  • Evaluates suppliers and procures equipment, tools and materials required for R&D, builds and maintenance.
  • Participates in R&D and solution design process.
  • Participates in new employees selection and training.
  • Provides required reports.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in team management (required).
  • Experience in managing vendors (required).
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Maths, Engineering, IT or Management) (required).
  • C1 (advanced user) level of English (required).
  • Project management and planning skills (required).
  • Good judgement, logical thinker and detail oriented (required).
  • Technical background with broadcast equipment; lighting and staging equipment will be considered an advantage (nice-to-have).
