Senior Marketing Planning Manager - Portfolio (Fixed-Term Contract)

Description

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Planning Manager - Portfolio to join our Marketing Planning & Partnerships team in Marketing Services, Flutter UK & Ireland on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This role supports portfolio level marketing planning across UKI brands, helping to maximise impact from key marketing moments, major campaigns, and shared initiatives. You will play a key role in enabling alignment across brands, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting the prioritisation of high impact activity to drive value for both the organisation and individual brands. You will also partner closely with the Director of Marketing Planning & Partnerships on strategic UKI partnerships, supporting their planning, governance, activation, and measurement. Success in this role is reflected in stronger campaign cohesion, improved cross-functional collaboration, reduced delivery friction, and effective execution of portfolio initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Support alignment of brands around key moments in the campaign calendar and portfolio initiatives to deliver Flutter Edge.
  • Collate and coordinate the range of media opportunities available around portfolio events, helping teams understand shared costs and benefits; support negotiations where required in partnership with media agencies and third parties.
  • Contribute to media renegotiation planning (e.g. Sky, ITV), gathering brand inputs and supporting scenario planning and negotiations.
  • Facilitate cross functional planning forums, readiness sessions, and prioritisation meetings to support coordinated campaign delivery.
  • Contribute to a portfolio level view by identifying opportunities, highlighting risks, and supporting optimisation of resources and investment decisions.
  • Help ensure campaign requirements, briefs, and timelines are clear, consistent, and well communicated across teams.
  • Support collaboration and continuous improvement across propositions, comms, creative, media, and measurement.
  • Capture learnings and best practices to inform future portfolio initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in marketing campaign planning and cross-functional delivery (required).
  • Broad marketing exposure (e.g. creative, media, propositions, CRM, measurement) (required).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (required).
  • Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to support and embed new ways of working (required).
  • Experience using market, media, and consumer insights to inform planning (required).
  • Ability to work across multiple brands and central teams to support joint initiatives (required).
  • Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate delivery risks (required).
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, multi brand environment (required).
