Senior Automation QA Engineer
This role is for a Senior Automation QA Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing automation frameworks. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automated testing aligns with business objectives and will perform in-depth analysis and debugging of test failures. This position is ideal for someone looking to contribute to a leading business advisory and services group in the iGaming and Entertainment industry.
- Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch, enhancing existing frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborate with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers to understand project requirements and ensure automated testing aligns with business objectives
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework for functional, integration, regression, and UI testing
- Perform in-depth analysis and debugging of automated test failures, working closely with development teams to resolve issues
- 4+ years of commercial experience in test automation
- Good programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with Playwright
- Strong experience with client-server architecture and REST API
- Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of SDLC and best practices in the software development process (code reviews, CI/CD, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of test automation processes and approaches
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with working on complex projects that require a deep understanding of the application's business logic and dependencies
- Experience with Python will be a plus
- Creating AI agents and building a workflow will be a plus
- English - Upper intermediate (will be a plus)
