Senior Associate Software Engineer (Java)

Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Associate Backend Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services and APIs. You will work on core platform components, optimize performance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot .
  • Build scalable, reliable, and secure microservices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features end‑to‑end.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical brainstorming.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvements.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and observability best practices.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Java 8+ , Spring Framework, Spring Boot.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs , microservices architecture, and multithreading.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented principles.
  • Good problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with message queues like Kafka, RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Familiarity with API gateways and service discovery.
  • Understanding of caching technologies (Redis, Hazelcast).
  • Exposure to performance and load testing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail, ownership, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment.
