Bookkeeper
Playtech Brazil is looking for a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join their dynamic Finance team. This role will report directly to the Finance Controller and will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial operations of their office in Brazil.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
- Perform partial checks of the posting process.
- Complete tax forms.
- Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role.
- Possess strong knowledge of Brazilian financial regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP).
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Are proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
- Have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Are fluent in Portuguese and English.
- Experience in the gaming or technology industry.
- Advanced knowledge of tax planning and compliance in Brazil.
- Familiarity with Playtech’s proprietary technology and financial systems.
- Holding a degree/Certification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
