Database Administrator
The Database Administrator will work within the Infrastructure unit to manage the company's global database platform. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ranging from initial setup to the development of internal tools, while ensuring the stability and availability of high-volume databases in a complex environment.
- Work with the company’s global database platform daily operations - from initial setup to tools development.
- Work with high-volume databases in a complex environment with many moving parts.
- Plan and execute all aspects of database administration to achieve maximum stability and availability.
- Install and upgrade databases and high-availability solutions for databases.
- Develop automation, monitoring and other tooling.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation to support database‑related production incidents.
- Have solid hands‑on experience with MySQL database administration (required).
- Have good understanding of general IT concepts, especially networks and Linux/Unix operating systems (required).
- Are a collaborative team player who is open to new ideas and modern approaches (required).
- Enjoy solving technical problems and can handle moderately complex challenges (required).
- Are proactive - when you notice something isn’t working as expected, you naturally look into it and help get it resolved (required).

- Have basic to intermediate scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar) to support automation and tooling (required).
- Knowledge or hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL (nice-to-have).
- Experience working with AWS database services (nice-to-have).
- Exposure to running databases on Kubernetes, especially using MySQL/MariaDB or PostgreSQL operators (nice-to-have).
