Workforce Coordinator

Description

The Workforce Coordinator is accountable for managing the operations schedule for studio employees, ensuring all employee is properly documented and supporting the Studio Leadership in all workforce administration issues.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly work schedules for studio employees.
  • Ensure new employees are properly added to employee shift rotations and confirm they are properly credentialed for the assignments given.
  • Set up and maintain daily rotation schedules and employee break assignments to ensure balanced coverage and smooth operational workflow.
  • Manage and process employee shift exchange requests, ensuring adequate coverage, adherence to scheduling policies, and timely updates to the work schedule.
  • Oversee and process employee time off requests ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, policy compliance, and timely updates to the work schedule.
  • Administer uniform distribution and maintain accurate records of issued items to ensure each employee receives and returns the correct uniform pieces.
  • Follow up on resigned employees and remove them from the schedule according to the last working day information.
  • Verify and ensure that work schedule calculations are accurate and properly coded in payroll system.
  • Make necessary corrections in existing work schedules and update information related to employee status changes, holidays, workload adjustments, etc.
  • Add information to work schedules regarding planned employee training sessions, corporate events, photo sessions, and other related activities.
  • Analyze feedback and recommendations from the Studio Leadership that could improve work schedules and employee satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports and presentations related to workforce management.
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the held position as instructed by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, including manner of speech, appearance, and posture in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to be flexible on working schedule (example: Schedule for payroll Mondays would be 6am-2pm, etc)
  • Able to work weekends (days off will be Wed/Thur)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear, effective collaboration and ability to clearly explain company rules and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Analytical thinking and high work organization skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with ADP a plus
  • Must be able to obtain a Michigan Gaming Occupational License.
