We are looking for a Solutions Specialist who thrives at the intersection of academic curiosity and practical delivery. Someone who is passionate about developing deep domain expertise within problem gambling and translating that expertise into impactful real-world solutions. This role is ideal if you enjoy engaging with academic research, applying best practices and recommendations to build robust solutions, and collaborating closely with customers to ensure our software is used responsibly and operates seamlessly.

As a Solutions Specialist, you will serve as both a domain expert and a trusted partner to our customers. You will continuously build and maintain a strong academic understanding of problem gambling, behavioural psychology, and neuroscience, and translate these insights into practical guidance, product development, research initiatives, and customer training. You will play a central role in bridging research, product development, and customer engagement to ensure that our scientific foundation directly informs how our solutions are implemented and used.

Responsibilities
  • Support priority customers with technical guidance, strategic steering, and best-practice advisory
  • Manage customer projects to ensure both internal and external commitment and alignment
  • Deliver workshops, demos, and training sessions to ensure our customers understand the both the practical and scientific nature of our products and their usage
  • Develop and maintain strong domain expertise within problem gambling, behavioural psychology, and the neuroscience behind addiction development
  • Support the development of materials, documentation, and frameworks that translate research into practical product development
  • Develop on our software solutions, solving ad-hoc requests, bug fixes and feature development
Requirements
  • PhD or masters degree preferably within a field like Cognitive science, UX/HCI, Psychology, Neuroscience
  • Academic drive with an inquisitive mind and a need to understand topics in-depth
  • Curious interest in engaging in software challenges and a can-do attitude towards finding a solution
  • Enjoy working with a large degree of freedom to coordinate a varying workday with changing modes between customer meetings, coordination, knowledge work, and technical tasks
  • Experience with Data analysis work is an advantage
  • Experience with Python and/or SQL is an advantage
  • Experience with Consultancy based work is an advantage
  • Experience with Communicating technical topics in a clear and understandable fashion to different audiences is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are essential
