Head of Social Media Marketing

Description

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Head of Social Media Marketing (SMM) to lead our social media strategy within the region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, a proven track record of driving engagement and growth, and the ability to develop creative campaigns that resonate with our target audience. As the Head of SMM, you will be responsible for overseeing all social media activities, enhancing our brand presence, and driving customer acquisition and retention through strategic social media initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates for the brands.
  • Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media success and regularly measure and report on these metrics.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality, engaging content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Develop a content calendar to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand voice and messaging.
  • Plan and execute creative and effective social media campaigns, including promotions, contests, and partnerships.
  • Utilise paid social media advertising to reach and engage targeted audiences.
  • Foster and manage a vibrant online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and encouraging user-generated content.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and support professional development.
  • Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to ensure social media efforts are aligned with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with influencers, partners, and industry stakeholders to amplify our social media presence.
  • Analyse social media performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on social media performance to senior management.
  • Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices within the iGaming industry and beyond.
  • Continuously explore new social media platforms and technologies to keep the brand at the fore.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. (required)
  • A number of years experience in social media marketing, with recent experience in a leadership role, preferably within the iGaming or entertainment industry. (required)
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media strategies. (required)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics. (required)
  • Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills. (required)
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and gaming. (required)
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills. (required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. (required)
