Sportsbook Analyst
The company is looking for a highly motivated and commercially minded Sportsbook Analyst who will deliver impactful insights and play a key role in data-informed decision-making across the commercial Sportsbook function. Reporting to the Manager of Sportsbook Analytics, the successful candidate will be part of the Sportsbook Analytics team supporting stakeholders from all areas of the business.
The role involves providing analytical support and insight to enable impactful commercial decision making for the Sportsbook function, allowing key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. The analyst will provide analysis, not just data, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations and communicating findings effectively to senior stakeholders. They will work with the Manager of Sportsbook Analytics to identify and implement consistent analytical metrics around business issues and processes, and support the delivery of analytical projects, helping to embed their outputs and recommendations within the organisation. The role also includes proactively monitoring key metrics, identifying unusual performance and highlighting potential areas to the business, working closely with the Sportsbook function to ensure alignment. Building strong relationships with key business stakeholders and promoting the capabilities of the Sportsbook Analytics team is also a key aspect, as is working collaboratively with all analysts within the wider team. The analyst will identify opportunities to improve Sportsbook performance, customer engagement, revenue and profitability through data-driven analysis.

- Work closely with Sportsbook function to ensure alignment.

- High level analytical thinking (required)
- Interest in numbers (required)
- Strong mathematical background (required)
- Strong presentation skills (required)
- Interest in Sportsbook and an understanding of fundamental sports and gambling logic (required)
- Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders clearly and work through to completion (required)
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or another quantitative discipline (nice-to-have)
- Previous experience in an analytical role (nice-to-have)
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Python or similar analytical tools (nice-to-have)
