SDE II
As a Software Development Engineer II, you'll design, develop, deploy, and maintain software features for Backend and Frontend applications. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll be a key member of the Product & Tech Team, focusing on delivering moderate complexity features throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Design and develop robust backend components using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
- Build responsive frontend applications using React.js, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Debug and resolve issues across backend and frontend in development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure code quality through unit/integration testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to deliver user-centric features.
- Participate in team ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to feature discussions.
- Act as the initial on-call responder, ensuring the health and stability of deployed applications.
- Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum 4 years of Strong proficiency in Java (preferably Java 11 or later) and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks (required).
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and microservices principles (required).
- Hands-on experience in frontend development using React.js or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (required).
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching (Redis), and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is a plus (nice-to-have).
- Comfortable with frontend toolchains (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn), API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI (required).
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab), Docker containers is preferred (preferred).
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevOps culture (required).
- Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, or JWT-based authentication (nice-to-have).
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures using AWS/Azure (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of performance tuning, observability tools, and production-grade deployments (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, or Server-Sent Events (SSE) is a plus (nice-to-have).
