Sportsbook Manager Austria (German Speaking)
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Sportsbook team in Vienna. Reporting to the Head of Sportsbook (based in Berlin), you will be responsible for managing our sports betting content strategy for the Austrian market and ensure that the sportsbook is always presented to the highest possible standard for our leading brand bwin .
Your primary responsibilities will include to effectively manage the day-to-day activities and business levels of our sportsbook. In addition to the content management, odds and risk-management plays a major role in the upcoming tasks. As a Sportsbook Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize our sportsbook offer and enhance player engagement.

- Deliver engaging content and betting journeys aligned with trading and commercial strategy.
- Interpret data to understand how it translates into odds and betting opportunities.
- Monitor and manage betting activity to ensure profitability and mitigate risks.
- Analyze customer profiles and betting behaviors to optimize engagement and retention.
- Test and provide feedback on new product features to enhance user experience.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational excellence and customer experience.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple teams to build an intuitive, data-driven betting platform.
- Native or fluent German language skills (both verbal and written) are essential (required)
- 3 - 5 years in sportsbook management with proven expertise in the sports betting industry (required)
- A real passion for sport, and an inherent understanding of what sports fans want to be entertained (required)
- Previous experience in sports trading and content (required)
- Excellent attention to detail with good planning skills (required)
- Creative thinker with a hands-on, proactive approach (required)
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability (required)
- Strong prerequisite knowledge of sports betting, the current competitive industry landscape, and an understanding of probabilities and basic statistical knowledge (required)
