- Generates test documentation and executes tests to verify that the system performs as required.
- Works independently, and is the primary contact with development services.
- Organizes, design plans, directs, and assists in all the activities required for the test effort.
- Develops test documentation and performs tests.
- Participates in projecting meetings and meetings with the client.
- Applies principles and techniques to evaluate systems during development.
- Recording, reporting, and tracking defects to accurately depict the status of the system.
- Recommends continuous improvements within the Central Control System.
- Ensures data integrity by evaluating and recommending appropriate software and hardware solutions.
- Consults with management and staff regarding development, testing and installation problems or malfunctions and recommends solutions
- A college degree in a technical field, preferably computer science
- 4+ years' experience in testing environment
